Manufacturer Warranty:

ACUMEN provides a manufacturer warranty for Mirror Dashcams and Switch Panels purchased from the ACUMEN Official Store (www.acumen-camera.com) and authorized dealers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 24 months from the date of purchase.

During the warranty period, if the product is found to be defective due to manufacturing issues, ACUMEN, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace the product free of charge with an equivalent model. The replacement unit may be new or refurbished.

  • Customers who purchase from the ACUMEN Official Store automatically receive a 12-month extended warranty, in addition to the standard 12-month manufacturer warranty.

    Total Warranty Coverage: 12-month manufacturer warranty + 12-month extended warranty (Total: 24 months)

  • Customers who purchase from Amazon or other authorized dealers are eligible for an additional 12-month extended warranty by registering their order details on our official website.

    Total Warranty Coverage: Amazon/Dealer warranty + 12-month extended warranty (upon registration with the ACUMEN Official Store)

 

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

This warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

  • Products not purchased from the ACUMEN Official Store or authorized dealers.

  • Damage caused by improper installation, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or discoloration.

  • Damage resulting from external factors such as power surges, water exposure, extreme temperatures, or environmental conditions.

  • Malfunctions caused by the use of non-ACUMEN accessories or components.

  • Products with tampered, removed, or altered serial numbers or labels.

  • Unauthorized repairs or disassembly.

  • Issues caused by software modifications, unauthorized firmware updates, or third-party applications.

 

Warranty Claim Process

To file a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Support: Reach out to ACUMEN Customer Support at info@acumen-camera.com with your order number, product model, and a detailed description of the issue.

  2. Troubleshooting Assistance: Our support team may provide troubleshooting steps to determine whether the issue can be resolved without returning the product.

  3. Warranty Approval: If the product is determined to be defective and covered under warranty, ACUMEN will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide return instructions.

  4. Return the Product: Ship the defective product to the designated address provided by ACUMEN. Unless otherwise stated, customers are responsible for shipping costs.

  5. Repair or Replacement: Upon receipt of the product, ACUMEN will inspect it. If eligible, we will repair or replace the product and return it to you at no additional cost.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACUMEN shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to data loss, revenue loss, or loss of functionality.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. ACUMEN reserves the right to interpret and modify this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
