Fantastic camera system, the mirrors were a little tricky, the manual needs some work, the app is not the best!! I hope they upgrade the app soon!! Video is Fantastic on the mirror!!

Installed this on my rock crawler. I’m running a high mount, rear radiator so a conventional rear view mirror was not an option. This thing solves my issues and gives me back my visibility.

I'm using the Acumen legend display and Acumen box to operate my headlights, park lights, interiors lights and power windows and love the accuracy and response of the touch screen compared to the Scosche M8rix I had before. My only wish is to have window up and down, parkligts and headlight icons but over all I'm 100% satisfied with the product.

The camera quality and customer service is excellent. I do not like cigaret chargers. It is best to install this camera to fuse box in your car and you need to use both ACC and constant 12V connections for stable operation. My car has STOP/START and with cigaret charger connection, camera sometimes get confused and shutdown. Connection to fuse box seemed to correct it. With any issues along the way, Customer service is there for you which is great!

The dual-channel system gives me both front- and rear-view coverage in crystal-clear 4K+2.5K, so I never miss a thing. Loop recording and the built-in G-sensor automatically lock footage on impact, which gave me peace of mind when a driver backed into me-before I even got out of the car, I knew every detail was captured. If I'd rewired the backup camera I'd get even sharper footage, but even straight out of the box the M4 2CH records flawlessly and makes me feel truly safe on the road. Case in point: after the accident, the officer's first question was, "Do you have a backup camera?"I had to sheepishly admit, "Yes-but not one that records..." Fortunately, the court dates went smoothly because I had this unit installed, and the other driver's insurance covered my repairs. She even tried to fight my insurer for damages! If I'd had the Acumen M4 2CH from the start, gathering evidence would've been effortless. Highly recommend for anyone who values reliable, dual-channel recording and effortless installation.

With this in place I actually have a wider view than I did with just the mirrors and I am secure in the knowledge that whatever happens in front of me or behind me has been recorded for posterity-if needed. I also paired the M4 3CH mirror with the Legend Panel and Acumen Box, which handle all my aftermarket lighting controls. The Legend Panel gives me a centralized dash switch for auxiliary lights, and the Acumen Box organizes the wiring cleanly, so there's no clutter behind the dash. Installing them alongside the mirror created a seamless, factory-fit appearance and put both my camera display and lighting functions within easy reach. The cameras work well in daylight and at night. The interface is easy to get used to. My after-sales support has been phenomenal. I had a minor issue shortly after purchase and it was resolved quickly and with professionalism. I can't speak highly enough about the support and quality for and of this product.

Have now installed it in two vehicles. Took a little bit of creativity for the rear camera in both vehicles but I am super happy with the results and the added peace of mind if anything happens on the road I have quality footage.
I put it in my Sprinter van, and it's been a game-changer. Blind spots are a big issue. Having the side camera really helps with visibility -but with the M4 Quad's four-channel recording, I now get front, rear, and both side cameras all at once. It records every angle simultaneously and loops seamlessly, so I never worry about missing footage. Plus, its crystal-clear night vision and smart screen-memory feature (it goes back to the last view after reversing) make it completely hassle-free.
My last rear view mirror camera died on me (was not Acumen but same hook ups) so I just switched them out and works great! If I rewired the back up camera, probably be even clearer but records and makes me feel safe! Had a lady back up into me in a parking lot, the first thing the cop asked me was"do you have a back up camera?" No lol not one that records and after several court dates, she was found guilty and thankfully she had insurance that covered my repairs, she even tried to go after my insurance company for repairs! but if I had this sooner, it would have been way easier.
Got myself this Acumen M4 2ch for my Lambo, and its mindblowing to the point that I can see all the blind spots way better now. The video quality is super clear, and it was easy to install without messing up my cars look. I have used other brand before, but the installation looks more clean and easy on this one.
Very nice camera mirror! I mounted the rear view camera just above the spare tire on the back of my vehicle, and it gives a very nice picture -even after a few muddy off-road runs and heavy rain, no issues at all. The wide field of view is perfect for trail driving and backing up on uneven ground, where regular mirrors just don't cut it. At night, the camera still delivers a crisp, clear image -even with minimal ambient light. Some people have difficulty with the instructions -I would suggest actually reading them before complaining. No problems in my application on a JEEP. The system holds up well in rugged conditions.
Fairly easy to set up and the camera quality is great. It's been really nice having the camera for the rear view, I am no longer looking through the tiny rear window to try to see. With the camera off to the side of the mirror it is able to ot be blocked by the eyesight cameras in my car. Mine came with a 64gb card which should be more than enough storage.

This unit is very solid and of high quality. The extra resolution is critical in capturing details you might otherwise miss. The documents are very clear and well written. I like that the rear camera is designed to also mount inside. Nice touch. Unfortunately my power port is not ignition switched so I need to hardwire it to a switched power source. No fault of the unit's. I like that their docs make note of this too. Another nice touch. In conclusion, my short tests on this unit have surpassed my expectations.

I've had mirror cams before, but this one is the best I've seen. There are multiple cameras and the screen image is well lit and crystal clear. A high capacity SD card is included which is a big plus and saves you several $$.

My vehicle didn't come with a factory rear view mirror, and the Acumen M4 QUAD turned out to be exactly what we needed. We purchased the M4 QUAD along with an extra 18-foot extension cable, since the original 32-foot one was just a bit short. We also got a mirror mount separately. The video quality for both rear and side views is excellent. The always-on rear view greatly enhances safety, and the side cameras-automatically activating with the turn signals-are a fantastic feature for improving lane-change visibility and reducing blind spots.
My husband loves tech gifts. He wanted a dash cam before but it was always mounted on the dash. He didnt like that style because of the wires. Im happy this was suggested when i was looking for a dash cam. He didnt have to attach it on the windshield and it look sleek and not too tacky. He happily did spend the christmas afternoon hiding the wires through the sides of the car. He found a youtube video of a guy with the same car as his installing the dash cam so he followed it and the car looks like it came with the camera. He was pretty happy with the gift and i got tons of hugs and kisses.
I have been pleased with the results of this product. I have installed it on a Jeep. The install took about 2 hours to complete running all the wiring which included power (I used the hardwire kit that came with the unit) and the GPS and the rear camera. once all was completed the device powered up and I was able to view the rear camera and then on the mirror swipe to see full screen front camera and another swipe to see a split screen view of both cameras. I have been using this product just over a week and have enjoyed seeing behind my Jeep. I have a soft top so any Jeep owners will tell you that you lose visualization of your back window after some time. The Acumen Legend 2ch allows me to see everything behind me. I was able to download the app provided by Acumen and import the videos that had recorded during travel. The application is great, it captures both the front and back view and showing your travel on google maps (there a other map service you can choose in the settings). It also captures the speed and lat and long of where you are at any given time. Overall I give this product great rating.

Had this for a few months now. I'm in a Nissan 370z and if you know about these cars, looking behind you is near impossible and add a spoiler to the back and now it's completely impossible. I added license plate camera RC200 and the windshield mount to my purchase. Everything works great. The front camera is adjustable and it is still wide enough to catch everything I need for recording in the event of a collision. It does exactly what I need it to.
