To access the recorded footages on a computer. Remove the micro SD card on the digital rearview mirror, insert the micro SD card into an adaptor then plug into the computer’s USB port. If your default media player cannot play the video files please download and install VLC media player for free here.

If your device has Wi-Fi feature please download the Acumen application on Google Playstore and iOs App store and follow the steps below.

1. Go to your Acumen device’s settings, turn on Wi-Fi.
2. On your phone connect to the Wi-Fi network listed on your Acumen device with provided password
3. Go to the Acumen App
4. Tap connect device
5. Tap the Playback page to access and download footages

• The XR10 Digital Rearview Mirror needs to be connected to power with the included power cable.
• Hardwiring kit is also available for the dash cam to be wired to vehicle’s battery in order to have constant power. Simply connect the wires to your vehicle’s fuse box, red wire to the accessory port (ACC), yellow wire to constant power, and black wire to ground.

Micro SD card. We recommend a micro SD card class 10 or above so the device can efficiently read and write data.

If the included 12v cigarette power cable is used the dash cam’s impact sensor will trigger a short video recording when an impact is sensed when the car is parked, then return to standby mode so that the device will not drain your vehicle’s battery.

If a hardwire kit is used then the digital rearview mirror can record time lapse video for up to 24 hour at 5 fps even when the car is off.

There is a small reset button located on the back of the digital rearview mirror where you can access with a small pin.

Unplug and re-plug the rear camera from the rear camera cable. Unplug and re-plug the rear camera cable from the device.

Make sure the rear camera is plugged in before turning on the device.

On the Acumen Mirror (Step1)
Enter the Acumen Mirror settings menu and turn on Wi-Fi option
( A button lets you turn Wi-Fi on/off on DC4K)

On your mobile phone (Step2)
Download the AcumenCam application on your smartphone.
Navigate to Wi-Fi setting on your smartphone
Select the corresponding network name and enter the password.The initial password is “12345678”.
After connection is established enter the AcumenCam application on your mobile phone and Click “Connect Device” you will have access to your footages.
Download videos to your phone at blazing speed.

Different camera view switching
Toggle between different camera view with a simple swipe on the digital screen.
Regardless of which camera view is shown on the display, as long as the camera is working properly and the recording is turned on, all the footages from different camera view will be recorded and can be played back from the album.

Recording duration (length)
The duration of each footage can be setup , between 1min , 2min or 3min.

Formatting the MicroSD Card
“The Memory card formatting is the process of preparing the MicroSD Card for data storage. It cleans the SD Card by removing previously existing files on the card and creating a new file system.
Unlike erasing, formatting improves the overall performance of the SD Card. Due to the constant overwriting cycles with your Acumen Dash Cam, we recommend formatting regularly to extend the lifespan of your MicroSD Card.
If you don’t format the card regularly, a bad block may result in a corrupt file.”

Time lapse recording
Acumen Dashcam can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse panel for Parking Mode with the Hardwiring cable. The dashcam will switch to Parking Mode automatically when vehicle ignition is turned off. The default Time-Lapse Recording FPS is 5 FPS and Time-Lapse Recording Duration is 12hrs, there are other options available in settings. The hardwire kit will automatically detect the battery voltage, and if the voltage is lower than 12V,it will automatically cut off the power supply to protect the battery from running out of power.
